Terms and Conditions

1. Pole Theatre Austria is a licensed  showbased national competition of Pole Theatre World.  Pole Theatre Austria is organised by freigeist - Verein für Poledance, Aerial Arts und Fitness ("the organisers").

2. Tickets:
The organisers sell tickets to spectators via this website and its included webshop. Tickets can be paid via the included webshop, buyers receive their tickets via e-mail and can whether show their tickets on their mobile devices or printed at the entry of Pole Theatre Austria.

Tickets must not be resold without the permission of the organisers. Tickets will be personalised. In case the buyer cannot attend the event him/herself and gives the ticket to somebody else, the organisers can be informed in order to change the name on the ticket(s).

Tickets will not be refunded for any reason. If you cannot attend the event and want to sell/give your ticket to somebody else please contact the organisers who will help connecting with interested people. 

In case the event has to be postponed or cancelled buyers will be informed whether the tickets stay valid or will be refunded.

3. Application Fee:
In order to apply as a competitor at Pole Theatre Austria an application fee has to be paid via this website. The application fee covers the judging process of the applicant's video entry no matter if the applicant will be chosen as a finalist or not (one application fee counts for one video entry. If a competitor wishes to apply for more categories, the application fee has to be paid for each video entry).

Application fees will not be refunded for any reason.

Applicants and competitors at Pole Theatre Austria don't have to pay any other fee except the application fee in order to (possibly) compete at Pole Theatre Austria.

In case the event has to be postponed or cancelled competitors will be informed whether their entries and application fees stay valid or the fees will be refunded.

4. Taxes on tickets and application fee:
As the organisers are operating as a non profit sports organisation (gemeinnütziger Sportverein) no VAT has to be paid (no Austrian MwSt.).

5. Privacy policy:
Personal Data that is provided through contact or actions on this site (e.g. purchase of tickets/application fees) will get used for the purpose of Pole Theatre Austria only. Personal data is saved in order to use it for buyers' purchases (e.g. personalisation of tickets),  to comply with our legal obligations or to inform about everything regarding Pole Theatre Austria. Please find our privacy policy here and feel free to contact us any time if you have questions or concerns. 

6. Photos and videos: 
Competitors know and agree that their performances are photo- and videographed. They agree that these photos and videos can and will be used by the organisers on their Pole Theatre channels and for Pole Theatre in general. Therefore a waiver has to be signed by competitors. 

7. Liability: 
The organisers do everything to guarantee a safe and enjoyable event. The organisers work with professionals for stage settings and safety, for catering and everything else that demands high profession in the subject.  The competitors of Pole Theatre Austria acknowledge and accept that freigeist – Verein für Poledance, Aerial Arts and Fitness and its leading board and staff (the Organisers) and the Kulturquartier Kufstein and its owners and staff (Venue) are not responsible for injury or damage resulting from participation in the competition, including the competitors’ arrival and departure from the competition. Competitors have to sign a waiver received by email/shared link before the competition to aknowledge the risks of participating in a pole dance competition. 

Austrian law applies to all terms and conditions and any other subject regarding Pole Theatre Austria. The place of jurisdication is Kufstein (Bezirksgericht Kufstein).
